We continue to focus on improving the technological capabilities of our business to provide leading flexible packaging solutions for our customers. Over recent years, we've partnered with Windmöller & Hölscher, Nordmeccanica & Atlas Titan.
Our plate mounting process is among the first steps to ensure high print quality and press productivity during the printing of your flexible packaging products.
We utilize our JM Heaford 1300 DX flexo plate mounting machine to mount plates quickly and accurately onto our large inventory of sleeve repeats.
Our in-house color control is second to none. We utilize a Corob Novaflow dispensing system as well as a X-Rite spectrophotometer which both allow us to achieve accurate and consistent ink batching while reducing waste, improving production time and continually managing our customers' print standards.
In 2019, we purchased a new Windmöller & Hölscher Miraflex II. This flexographic printing press is instrumental in our printing capabilities and allows us to be competitive on all jobs. Some of the Miraflex capabilities include: 100% defect detection, quick changeover, and waste reduction. With these capabilities, we are better able to monitor and control jobs as well as optimize the entire printing process.
In 2020, we purchased a new Nordmeccanica Super Simplex laminator. This industry-leading machine allows multi-layer laminates which protect the print on your flexible packaging products. This laminator guarantees accuracy in coat weight control, has high production and quality standards, and allows for quick changeover.
Additionally, in 2020, we purchased a Titan ER610 slitter.
